Found a really cool full DIY for an ANBU mask, and Karen’s #1 choice for associating me with an animal was a cheetah (also my favorite animal growing up) so it’s settled!

Already have:
- Butcher paper (instead of newspaper)
- White glue
- Scissors, X-acto knife, brushes, pencil
- Cardboard
- Paint
- Hot glue
- Elastic fabric for band (may need to sew it to double it up)
- Non-food mixing bowl
- Wire (just in case I come up with a good use for it)
Need:
- Wall filler plaster (Lowes?)
- Probably a mannequin head
- A plan for how to paint a semi-abstract cheetah
- Get extra cardboard maybe?
Just in case you need a reference for what an adult cheetah face looks like The DIY ANBU mask made by Dali Lomo
You know it’s just now occurring to me that I WEAR GLASSES. ARE YOU KIDDING ME.
Though when I make the mold I should be able to test it right away to see if it fits over my sports googles. My thinking is that it probably will, or in the worst case scenario I will monkey around with the design a bit to get them to fit over the goggles.
I should also really see once and for all if I am eligible to get contacts. Google suggests I can, so maybe I’ll think about it.
